Review:
Truce is a very captivating novel on five teenagers. Their names are placed as per the novel title: Tiya, Ron, Udit, Cayra, and Edi. Since I am mostly into reading fiction books, I was receptive to this book. As I started reading the book, I was befuddled by its intensity and the storyline. It’s not a casual novel I got that after reading a few pages. This is way engrossing yet serious kind of book with powerful and yet funny characters. I liked the personal accounts of all characters. As one reads through them, one will realize as how lonely is life without true friends and higher aspirations. Read the novel to know how they meet and become friends for lifetime.

There is much fun and mirth and a lot of mingling among them. I truly relish their wavelength and kind of thinking. It is a good novel for teens and their parents and for those who lived their teenage life when there were no phones or internet.

The author’s lucid language and fun-filled dialogues are heart-touching and great for mind soothing. Considering the author is a teen and Truce being her second novel, she successfully managed to keep the readers engaged and weaved the plot brilliantly. From language to narration and pace all was good in the novel. It is a heart winning novel with special focus on teenage life. Overall, a book of great importance for all of us! Read the book if you value friendship and career goals at all points of life, be it rain or shine.
