Book Review:

The Last War by the author Sambit Daspatnaik contains five different stories. Each story has its own storyline. The story is in the timeline of the year 2080 BCE. The Mahabharata war that was fought thousands of years ago between the Pandavas and the Kauravas was thought to be the last war. But generations later, everyone was mistaken.
The descendants of the Pandavas and the Kauravas (Pauravas) faced a mammoth invasion by the Gandharvas. The Pauravas had to face new geographical and political challenges to save the land of Bharata i.e. Ancient India. Pauravas unveiled old secrets to learn the new lessons. Read the story to know whether Pauravas will be victorious in saving the city of Moenjo and Hariapa. Will the sky Gods help Pauravas in the victory?

Another story is Genesis. It discusses can we rely on an extra-terrestrial object as the source of unlimited power? There are three more stories covered in book. They are: The Holy Temple of Eula, Blink and Resurrection. The narration style of the author is really amazing. The title of the story is apt and the cover is totally related to the content of the book.

It is a perfect book for Science Fiction lovers. Exploring the unexplored is what makes this book even more interesting. The book is written in a simple and clear language. Each of these five stories is unique. The author has described new technologies that are way beyond our imagination. I found it interesting reading about how characters reacted when they first saw them. A great book to read for Sci-Fi Genre lovers.
